Shaymaa is an Architect, Interior designer, Artist and Art Curator based in Cairo. She graduated from the American University in Cairo, AUC, after completing her bachelor degree in Architectural Engineering. Art has always sparked her interest since her early years and she decided to pursue her passion for art by completing certified courses in Contemporary Visual and Fine Arts awarded by top institutes in the field including the University of the Arts London, UAL. In October 2017, she founded Artistic Anarchy by shimo which allowed her to create her own story and show her art to the world.
Shaymaa' s vision through Artistic Anarchy is to redefine the realm of the affordable contemporary art scene locally and globally, by promoting a lifestyle full of art. In a duration of just above 2 years, Artistic Anarchy has worked on 100+ creative projects and art pieces inside and outside of Egypt, including individual and commercial innovations. In addition to taking part in various locally and internationally renowned art exhibits. Currently Artistic Anarchy by Shimo's work is showcased in private art collections in Cairo, Greece, France, Luxembourg and UAE.

In October 2019, she co-founded ART EMPOWERS combining her passion for Art and bringing the learning experience she captured through her art studies in internationally established institutes and various cultures around the world.

Art Empowers is a nurturing platform for artists and art enthusiasts, aiming at empowering people’s talents and abilities by creating opportunities for artists to learn, grow, showcase their talent and have a chance to be recognized in the art scene locally and globally. Art Empowers hosts art events of distinct nature; including Art Workshops, exhibitions and creative projects, allowing art enthusiasts to connect and engage. This multi concept platform aims that each art event advocates for a different cause and most importantly promotes the significant impact of art on society, culture and people. Through Art Empowers previous projects it has dealt with prominent Egyptian and Internationally established artists. This includes our latest project in collaboration with World Class Artist Dairo Vargas in June 2020..
